Nap time Happiness

Do you know what I love about three day weeks at school? The opportunity to be LAZY on a Sunday before going back. I took an hour and a half nap, looked through magazines, and watched two movies and two episodes of Private Practice. How you ask? NONSTOP that is how. I must say that being lazy has some great rewards....

Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving? I love this time of year, especially since I will be having 15 amazing people over to my house! Well Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Friday Night Fun

Did I say fun? Well it would have been fun. We were going to go watch a football game (highschool), but Jeremy had too much work to do. So it was a night in. However, I made some hot apple cider...it is Oh soooooo good. So, as one of my colleagues would say, she thinks Friday's are the most delicious nights of the week. No pressing things to do, no obligations, just a night of RELAXATION, and after a week like mine, relaxation is exactly what the doctor ordered. :)

Workout What?

So do you ever have more energy after working out? Well sometimes I do. Today I taught two spin classes....only 12 hours in between....and after the second, I went in to kick some butt...Turbo kick that is! I was so energized for it! Crazy I know.

By the way, if we could have a three day weekend every week I think that would be AMAZING! Thursday nights are one of my favorite nights, but knowing that I have to wake up makes it a crummy night...LOL. Ok blogging world...it is time. Good night.

Just another day in Paradise

Paradise? Can you call it paradise when you see your hubby for only 10 minutes and spend the entire night at home by yourself with your two beautiful dogs? Of course I call it paradise! I am alive and well and my Lord has given me this day. I am truly blessed. So today I taught my spin class, taught my second graders (did not attack any of them!) and went to another class at the gym. It was all because I ate a whole pumpkin spice scone (free) and a vanilla bean mini scone (also free). I really need to stop doing that!

Well, that is all for now. CMA music awards tomorrow night! Not a huge country fan, but I might watch some of it anyway!

Restful Sunday?

Is there anything restful about working on a Sunday? And when I mean work, I mean writing, fixing, cleaning, and shopping. Not the kind of shopping that is fun either. Grocery shopping...ick! Oh and the great writing...my brain is stuck, my fingers are feeling nimble...and just when I think my masters is complete, my professor tells me nit picky things to fix. But hey....Wednesday we have no school and we get a free meal....somewhere! I am already a fan of Veteran's day.
